Part 2 : Adam Left Elbow Fracture

Okeh sambung cite part 1 !

Lepas wat x-ray we all kene tunggu around 10 minute lagik cuz nak jumpe dr balik. Dr tunjuk result x-ray Adam, confirm ade fracture. Bile tanye what we should do next??? Katenye "I'll refer Adam to Dr Loo Juin Thong, Orthopaedic & Trauma Surgeon...he will advise you further..."

Result x-ray tuh nampak mcm serious sebenarnye...fracture tu nak dekat ujung dah. But we still had to wait advise from Dr Loo. Nurse suruh Adam naik wheel chair coz nak naik 1st Floor jumpe dr.Loo. Memula dia memang excitedlah kan....mcm best duduk jer nurse tolong tolakkan. Tp kejap jer, dia dah mula resah..mintak nak jalan sendiri...


Again we had to wait around 10 minute then jumpelah dr.loo juin thong nih. he explained about the fracture which actually agak serious.Bila dr tanya Adam whether tangan sakit ke tidak, dia jawab..Takkkkkk! Bila surug gerak elbow, dia ckp "Tangan kanan boleh...tangan kiri tak boleh....." Dr asked us to choose either :

• Normal Clay which the cost less than RM1k. dr can do immidiately...on the spot no admission at all. If everthing gonna be okay, after 3 weeks...can remove the clay but he can't guarantee maybe will extend more than 3 weeks depends on Adam activity & movement. Kalau pandai jaga tangan cepat baik. Dr pun kata normal clay lebih sesuai utk adult. Kalau nak wat normal clay pun boleh jugak....Tp tgk perangai Adam ni....im not so sure!



• Surgery!!! Off coz Adam kene admitted to hospital. Dr will put K-Wire & Clay at the same time. Adam tak sedar so dia takkan rase sakit for sure. This one, process recover dia lebih cepat within 2 weeks coz with the K-Wire there no movement even Adam active melompat2 segala...this wire will support tulang Adam....& the cost around RM5k not include post treatment & 2 nd surgery utk remove the K-Wire & clay....Kalau confirm, 2pm Adam masuk OT.
  

So, we agreed to choose Surgery!!! Memandangkan Adam nih super active person, we all tak nak take any risk. Sebelum wat clay pun takleh nak duduk diam...tak leh nak bayangkan pas wat clay tu...

Lepas confirm, around 1 pm we all pun check in bilik. Activity wajib even elbow sakit...camwhoring!!!
