Yeah, I've read a few email from frens about escalator accidents involving children wearing Crocs. Tapi masa tuh ai dah beli one pair untuk Adam. Memula tu worried jugak, setiap kali guna escalator mesti pesan kat Adam..carefull carefull carefull!!!
Adam pun comfortable pakai Crocs compare ngan shoes lain, panas kot. Skrang Adam ade 6 pairs, design almost the same cuma kaler je lain sket ....
Malang tak berbau kan. Macam mane we all hati2 pun jadi jugak. Its happened kat Parkson Pavillion. Masa tu ai jalan sendiri while Adam with my hubby. Im not there when its happened. Kalau tak mesti ai jerit satu Pavillion dgr!!! :P
Lepas jenjalan, ai received call from hubby suruh jumpa kat Adidas Kids Department. Masa tu, my hubby tgh belek2 kasut , while Adam dok diam2 jer. Without asking, my hubby bgtau nak beli utk Adam coz Crocs Adam dah rosak n ai ngan muka pelik tanya bila plak rosaknye. Then my hubby pun citelah.....*blablabla....blablablabla*......What??? ai memang terkejut but alhamdulillah no injuries at all. Adam cuma terkejut jer.Nasib baiklah kaki Adam tak injured ke ape coz dia cepat tarik kaki & Crocs tu tersepit sikit bahagian depan...kalau tak?? Cacat kaki anak ai tau...
Ai tot lepas accident tuh, Adam dah tak nak pakai Crocs lagi tapi idaknye serik2. Tetap nak pakai Crocs. So me & hubby extra carefull bila guna escalator. Selalu remind Adam pasal accident tuh & for parents out there, kene extra carefull bila guna escalator. Actually kan ade guideline nak gua escalator. Kita jer selalu ambik remeh hal nih. Kalau you or your kids action cepat maybe boleh elak any injury tp kalau lambat??? Mcm mana kalau happen kat kids umur less than 2 years??? mane dia org tau nak wat ape kan???
So, here are some steps you can take to prevent escalator injuries:- Make sure shoes are tied before getting on an escalator.
- Stand in the center of the step, perasan tak ade yellow line tuh??? Make sure tak lebih line okeh & be sure to step off of the escalator at the end of your ride. Adam selalunye dah standby nak lompat..hehehe takut tersangkut lagik.
- Always hold children's hands on escalators and do not permit children to sit or play on the steps. Some parents biarkan je anak naik escalator sendiri....anything happen kan susah takde org nak assist diorg ape nak buat.
- Do not bring children onto escalators in strollers, walkers, or carts.Hah! Banyak parent malas nak gune liftkan...jauh...dulu my huby wat cam nih. Me??? I never guna stroller alone without my hubby. Mak tak reti okeh!!!
- Always face forward & hold the handrail. Kekadang escalator terbenti sendiri betul tak?? Kalau kita tak pegang handrail bahaya tau..leh terjatuh..kang bleh hempap org kat belakang...:P
- Avoid the sides of steps where entrapment can occur.
- Learn where the emergency shut off buttons are in case you need to stop the escalator.
For us, we all lebih extra carefull skrang. Takkan nak salahkan Crocs pulakkan....
